Casa della Capra is the project of an artist and a cook who love cycling. At a 1910 house converted into a restaurant and inn, we promote Art, Bicycles and Cooking as a way of exploring the territory. We are located right in front of beautiful Lake Mergozzo, in northern Piemonte, near Val Grande National Park, Ossola Valley, Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. The kitchen is the heart of the house, it's where we share flavours, traditions and knowledge. Our menu is based on healthy, locally produced food to be enjoyed with friends and family. To go along with our convivial food philosophy, we offer a calendar of cooking classes and food tastings with the best of Italian wine.

With a background in Architecture and a Fine Arts degree awarded in London in 2015, she stands for the idea that everyone is potentially creative. Art workshops and artist residencies are offered in her studio. Her own practice involves processes that resonate with the "slow" philosophy, showing an effort to use local materials and a preference for hand skill. Previous works include ceramics, illustrations, tapestry, videos, performance and collaborative experiments. More recently, her research has been centered on the ideas of place, territory and belonging.
A cook and cyclist. He promotes Bike&Food tours, exploring the landscape through cycling while introducing his customers to the very best of local wine and food producers. His passion for Italian cuisine dates back to childhood, but it was only after he finished a degree in Economics that he attended ICIF (cookery school) in southern Piedmont. Previous experiences include working on the food and beverage sector, hosting a TV cooking show and as a personal chef. Responsible food sourcing and athlete nutrition have been his main focus lately.
