Weaving Workshops
Botanical Weaving
Tessitura Botanica is a creative workshop open to everyone, with or without previous weaving experience.
Using a frame loom, participants create a unique tapestry by combining different types of yarn with botanical fibers and fresh or dried plants gathered from our garden or brought from home.
For those with prior experience, more advanced weaving techniques are explored.
You can join one of the available dates in our calendar or select a private date for you and your group. Duration: 3 hours. Minimum of 4 participants.

Weaving Stories
Tell your story through weaving.
Through circular weaving, transform memories, symbols, and recycled materials into a unique piece that reflects your journey. An experience immersed in meditation and self-observation, where every thread carries intention and meaning.

Drawing Workshops
Sketch Mergozzo
Discover Mergozzo through observation and sketch
With Patricia Orem, experience a 3-hour drawing workshop dedicated to capturing the soul of Mergozzo using pencils, ink, and watercolors. All materials are included — just bring your perspective and curiosity.
Throughout the experience, Patricia will guide observation exercises and sketching techniques, combined with a walk through the village’s most iconic and evocative corners.
At the end, you will take your sketches home — a tangible memory of an immersive and authentic artistic experience.
Drawing Nature
Inspired by a walk in the woods, bring your drawings to life using pencils, watercolors, and pastels.
A 1 hour and 30 minute workshop using handmade paper, pencils, pens, pastels, watercolors, and brushes to explore natural shapes, textures, and details.
Throughout the experience, we work with botanical and natural elements found around the Casa, transforming direct observation of the landscape into artistic expression.

Since 2019, Casa della Capra has hosted creative professionals through the “SCAMBIO” Art Residency, welcoming artists, designers, and artisans from around the world.
The name Scambio, meaning exchange — reflects the essence of the program: hospitality in exchange for art. Selected participants stay with us and develop projects inspired by the local landscape, history, and future perspectives, receiving support throughout their creative process.
The works created become part of the artistic legacy of the house. During the residency, artists also have the opportunity to connect with guests and local personalities, gain visibility through our social media channels, and exhibit their work in the common areas of the property. Art Exhibitions
The house is constantly changing with new works of art. Aside from the ever-growing collection of art made by artists in residence, we also organise temporary exhibitions. Some works are for sale.
