IT_ Svolta nella suggestiva Casa della Capra sul Lago Mergozzo, la residenza artistica SCAMBIO offre un'esperienza unica di ospitalità in cambio di opere d'arte. Dal 2019, questo programma innovativo accoglie artisti, designer e artigiani da tutto il mondo, invitandoli a esplorare e narrare il ricco patrimonio culturale e naturale dell'Alto Piemonte. Con più di venti artisti coinvolti dal 2019, SCAMBIO promuove la creazione di opere ispirate al territorio, trasformando paesaggi, storie e tradizioni locali in espressioni artistiche. Il programma favorisce interazioni significative tra artisti e comunità, mentre le creazioni vengono esposte negli spazi comuni della guesthouse, contribuendo a un dialogo vivo e continuo tra arte e territorio.
EN_ Located in the picturesque Casa della Capra on Lake Mergozzo, the SCAMBIO Art Residency offers a unique hospitality experience in exchange for works of art. Since 2019, this innovative program has welcomed artists, designers, and artisans from around the world, inviting them to explore and narrate the rich cultural and natural heritage of Northern Piedmont. With more than twenty artists involved since 2019, SCAMBIO promotes the creation of works inspired by the territory, transforming landscapes, local stories, and traditions into artistic expressions. The program fosters meaningful interactions between artists and the community, while the creations are exhibited in the common areas of the guesthouse, contributing to a lively and continuous dialogue between art and territory.

IT_ María Celeste Gómiz è un'artista visiva argentina nata nel 1975 a Buenos Aires. Si è laureata presso la Scuola Nazionale di Belle Arti Prilidiano Pueyrredón (UNA), specializzandosi in scultura. Ha partecipato a workshop con Pablo La Padula, Ananké Asseff e Natalia Forcada, artisti di spicco della regione. Si è formata in ceramica e scultura in diversi laboratori. Nel 2009 si è stabilita nelle Valli Calchaquí, nella provincia di Tucumán, dove insegna nella comunità indigena Quilmes e svolge ricerche sull'architettura sostenibile, l'iconografia precolombiana e l'uso ancestrale della lana. Ha partecipato alle Biennali Internazionali SACO di Antofagasta, in Cile, e di Valcheta, Río Negro, in Argentina. Ha tenuto numerose mostre personali e collettive. Ha lavorato come insegnante d'arte a vari livelli e da 25 anni offre laboratori tessili.
EN_ María Celeste Gómiz is an Argentine visual artist born in 1975 in Buenos Aires. She graduated from the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón (UNA), specializing in sculpture. She has participated in workshops with prominent regional artists such as Pablo La Padula, Ananké Asseff, and Natalia Forcada. She trained in ceramics and sculpture in various studios. In 2009, she settled in the Calchaquí Valleys in the province of Tucumán, where she teaches in the Quilmes indigenous community and conducts research on sustainable architecture, pre-Columbian iconography, and the ancestral use of wool. She has participated in the International SACO Biennials in Antofagasta, Chile, and in Valcheta, Río Negro, Argentina. She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions. She has worked as an art teacher at various levels and has been offering textile workshops for 25 years.
